This year “So Much Christmas” will showcase a brand-new theme with ICE! – Gaylord Palms Resort’s frozen yuletide attraction . ICE! is a 20,000-square-foot arctic attraction located inside the Convention Center at the Gaylord Palms Resort. This attraction features giant sculptures and scenes, hand-carved from 2 million pounds of ice, featuring New Line Cinema’s popular holiday film, “Elf.”
What is ICE! featuring Elf™
Inside ICE!, you will experience approximately a dozen different scenes as you follow Buddy the Elf’s journey from the North Pole to New York City. Along the way, you may even encounter some of your favorite characters from the film including Papa Elf, Mr. Narwhal, Jovie, Walter Hobbs, and of course, Santa Claus. The opportunity to create seasonal social media content is truly endless.
How cold is it inside the attraction?
Bundle up buttercup because in order to maintain the 1,000 tons of ice, the attraction is a whopping 9 degrees Fahrenheit. This attraction does provide one signature blue parka per ticketed guest. I also suggest bringing a warm hat, mittens and maybe even a scarf.
How long does it take to get through the attraction?
While there are no time limits, it typically takes anywhere from 20-40 minutes from start to finish in the attraction.
When can I visit ICE! featuring Elf™?
This attraction along with over a dozen other “So Much Christmas” attractions will be held November 15th through January 4th this Holiday season at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.
